James Farmer is a Southern author, interior designer, and speaker with an unparalleled eye for history and beauty. His natural Southern grace and warm personality can light up any room, making him a fresh voice for all generations. Viewed as an expert in interior, landscape, and floral design, James has built James Farmer Inc. in his hometown of Perry, Georgia, though his projects can be found nationwide.
James is the author of the Wall Street Journal best-selling books A Time to Plant, Sip & Savor, Porch Living, Wreaths for All Seasons, A Time to Cook, Dinner on the Grounds, A Time to Celebrate, and A Place To Call Home. His most recent book, A Place To Call Home, focuses on his interior design projects, featuring homes from Sea Island to St. Louis.
